Release Notes

This release has been replaced by Book Companion Release 1.0

Released August 6th:

This is the final release of the samples which will go with the .NET book release due at the end of August. It includes samples in C# and Visual Basic.

It also includes fixes for issues 18433, 18206 & 18205. And no longer has TFS bindings in the solution file.

For the last draft version of the book content and answers to the end of chapter questions see Drop 6.

Updated August 11th:

Fix Issues 18466 and 18432. Download should no longer have TFS bindings in it.

As a very Old user of Microsoft, this release does not make any difference of the past ones. Normally all the examples, samples and test came with tons of errors, discouraging the new user or old, in the learning process along with the frustration. Microsoft have made some changes with the Help for VB 10, but still having the samples plagued with horrors. Same for VS7, VS7.1, VS8, VS9 and VS10.

Still I havent seen the Drop 7, so I can't say anything about it.
